Last month I was lucky enough to catch up with two visionary women that I have long admired – world-renowned photographers Angela Fisher and Carol Beckwith, at the launch of their spectacular new book, African Twilight: Vanishing Cultures and Ceremonies of the African Continent at THK Gallery in Cape Town.

For not only are the sheer number of animals unparalleled, but sightings at the water hole located just a few feet beyond the main lodge are so prolific that Rodney and Nico have introduced a (tongue-in-cheek) experience called ‘the sofa safari’

It seems there is to be no rest for the exceptionally talented Luke Dale-Roberts of Test Kitchen fame. His newest addition, Salsify, just opened in Cape Town’s historic Roundhouse in Camps Bay.
