“We have never experienced anything like it.”

Robert ChavezExecutive Chairman, Hermès Americas

“Someone asked me a few weeks ago... 'What is the most amazing trip you have ever taken?' And it didn't take me a split second to say: 'It was the ROAR AFRICA trip.'”

“Africa has stolen my heart … and my words.”

Guest

“There were so many reasons to pause, to reflect - an overwhelming gratitude. By day, the glorious guides offered us their extraordinary Africa, from scorched savannahs to the Okavango oasis, from the majestic Mara to the verdant volcanoes. Lions dreamed beside us, leopards perched on branches above, hyenas watched with blood red faces. Hungry lion cubs orbited the termite mound while cheetah cubs mirrored their huntress. The mountain gorillas - the ultimate privilege - once is not enough.”

“Never in our wildest dreams...”

Guest

“Never in our wildest dreams did we think we would do something like this. To be able to see these many places in such a short amount of time, it definitely was The Greatest Safari on Earth℠.”

“We'll never forget it!”

Guest

“I must offer again my undying thanks and gratitude for such a wonderful life event as we just experienced with The Greatest Safari on Earth℠. We'll never forget it. It was everything and more than was said and advertised by everyone. We are great fans and admirers of ROAR AFRICA.”

Four extraordinary wildernesses.

One seamless journey across Africa.

The Greatest Safari on Earth℠ travels twice in 2026—August 10–22 and August 25–September 6—and returns in 2027 from August 25–September 6.

Beginning in Dubai aboard the Emirates A319 Executive Private Jet, the journey moves across twelve days through Matetsi Victoria Falls in Zimbabwe, Xigera Safari Lodge in Botswana’s Okavango Delta, Angama Mara in Kenya’s Maasai Mara and Singita Kwitonda in Rwanda’s Volcanoes National Park. The August 10, 2026 departure will stay at One&Only Gorilla’s Nest in Rwanda. Each place has been chosen not simply for its beauty or comfort, but for its position within the landscape, the privacy it affords and the access it makes possible.

Stand beneath the thunderous spray of Victoria Falls. Move silently by mokoro through the Okavango Delta. Witness the Great Migration crossing the Maasai Mara. Sit quietly in the presence of mountain gorillas in Rwanda’s volcanic forests.

These are not four separate stops. They have been carefully sequenced to unfold as one continuous journey—each transition anticipated long before departure, each experience deepening the next.

The Emirates Executive Private Jet has been configured for just ten guests. Each private suite is more spacious than a conventional First-Class seat, with an extra-length lie-flat bed and three windows of its own. Beyond the suites, a private lounge and dining room create space to gather, dine and reflect between destinations. The aircraft does morethan shorten distance; it removes the interruptions, compromises and lost time that usually accompany travel across a continent of this scale.

Guided by an all-African team and shaped by ROAR AFRICA’s lifetime of experience, this is safari at its most considered: extraordinary access, exacting judgment and every detail decided before it ever becomes visible.

ASSOULINE

African Adventures: The Greatest Safari on Earth℠

The Greatest Safari on Earth℠ is the most complete expression of what an African journey can be: four of the continent’s most extraordinary wildernesses brought together through access, judgment and seamless design.

When Assouline set out to create its first safari book, it chose ROAR AFRICA and this journey as its inspiration. The result is a visual celebration of Africa’s wild beauty, cultures and extraordinary moments. Its pages offer a glimpse of what becomes possible when Africa is experienced with the depth, discernment and intimacy thatdefine every ROAR AFRICA journey.

“Transcending the everyday”

In nearly two decades of creating journeys across Africa, I have come to believe that the most extraordinary travel is not defined by how much we see, but by how deeply we experience it.

The Greatest Safari on Earth℠ was conceived with that belief at its heart. Each wilderness has been chosen with care, and each experience placed in a sequence that allows one landscape to deepen the meaning of the next.

What feels effortless to our guests is the result of years of experience, trusted relationships and decisions made long before departure. We consider what matters, remove what does not and protect the space required to be fully present. This is travel shaped by people who know Africa intimately—and who understand that the difference between a remarkable itinerary and an unforgettable journey often lies in what the guest never has to see.

To hear more about the thinking behind the journey, I invite you to listen to my conversation with Emirates on its World Interviews podcast, here, or to hear Robert Chavez, Executive Chairman of Hermès Americas, share his reflections here.

I would be honoured to welcome you aboard. Africa has the power to restore perspective, awaken wonder and remind us of our place within something much larger than ourselves.

"When it has to be perfect."
