Namibia

With just 2,4 million inhabitants spread across a landmass twice the size of California, there’s an awful lot of isolation in Namibia… and therein lies its appeal.

Home to one of the oldest deserts in the world, Namibia offers an otherworldly experience from the rugged beauty of the Skeleton Coast Park with its eerie shipwrecks to the 80 mile long, game-rich Etosha National Park and the Etosha Pan that can be seen from space. Not forgetting the Namib-Naukluft Park, Namibia’s largest conservation area and home to the towering red sand dunes of Sossusvlei and the spectacular Sesriem Canyon.

Cultural highlights include interactions with the world’s last remaining hunter-gatherer societies, the San People; as well as the Himba Tribe, who still live a traditional, semi-nomadic lifestyle in the remote northwest of the country. Not to mention the plethora of luxury tented camps and safari lodges, where the stark beauty, endless landscapes, and desert-adapted wildlife take center stage.

For solitude and silence amidst incredible landscapes, geology, rock-art and unmatched stargazing.

“A perfect, hassle-free adventure.

I can now see how much detail went into making this a perfect, hassle-free adventure. We were pampered 24/7. Everything has been wonderful, beyond words.”

“There is a language going on out there, the roars, snorts, trumpets, squeals, whoops and chirps that have meaning derived over eons of expression. We have yet to become fluent in the language – and music – of the wild.” - Boyd Norton
