Cape Town

The Garden Route
region is a scenic stretch of about 100 miles of coastline from Mossel Bay in the Western Cape to the Storms River in the Tsitsikamma National Park. Visitors are drawn year-round to its indigenous forests, freshwater lakes, wetlands, hidden coves and long beaches. Highlights include the Wilderness coastal stretch, Hermanus - whale watchers paradise, Knysna's and Plettenberg Bay.
Kwazulu Natal
Sunbathe on the glorious beaches, play golf on the fabulous golf courses, and enjoy this warm tropical climate. Further to the north is Zululand and south is the Transkei.
Zululand
is an area is endowed with a large number of parks and large amounts of game. It is in this region that the last significant numbers of white rhino are found. The Greater St. Lucia Wetlands are a World Heritage site and are on their way to becoming as synonymous as the Kruger Park.
Transkei
is a rugged coastline untouched by urban development. It was once a black homeland within the apartheid system and today consists of mud huts and cattle grazing. Nelson Mandela comes from the inland village of Qunu near Umtata.
Drakensburg Mountains
are visited by those who love nature, are bird watchers hikers and climbers. There is a deep peace that exists in this magical setting of endless peeks and lush green carpeting. The views are dramatic, the air is crystal clear.
Namaqualand
famous for an explosion of color in the springtime as a multitude of flowers burst into bloom. This usually occurs mid August to mid September.
