Bazaruto Archipelago

THE PEARL OF THE INDIAN OCEAN
The Bazaruto Archipelago, is a group of six islands in Mozambique near the mainland city of Vilankulo. It is believed that the first visitors to the Bazaruto Archipelago were ancient Phoenicians who came in search of pearls - explaining the origin of this island paradise's well deserved nickname. Today visitors come to visit this national park for its dazzling white beaches, warm blue ocean, diverse natural environment and very friendly locals.
